When can we set up the room?
Your room hire only includes your wedding day.  Our staff will always set up your wedding the earliest they can, so if the barn is empty the day before your wedding, this can be done for you.  However, if you wish to guarantee this, you will need to pre-book in advance.

Can we bring in our own food and drink?
Catering is provided solely by Knights Hill Hotel so that we can ensure the highest quality food for your wedding.  You can of course bring in your own wedding cake, cupcakes and sweets.  The only beverages you can bring are table wines and these are charged corkage per bottle.  Please be aware we do not allow alcohol as favours for your guests.

Do you allow candles?
We do not allow candelabras to be lit, or candles on the floor.  Other candles can only be lit if the flame is enclosed within a holder and if the holder is tempered glass.

Where do we have our photographs taken?
Your wedding photographs are typically taken in our walled gardens which is located behind the Garden Brasserie.  We would typically allow between 60-90 minutes for this.  Alternatively we have the front of the hotel, outside the Barn, by the water fountain or in event of poor weather, you could use the Barn for photos or anywhere available in the hotel.

Do you allow confetti?
We allow biodegradable confetti to be thrown in our garden and also internal confetti such as the smaller handheld confetti cannons fired by DJ's onto the dancefloor, only at the last hour of the evening.

Do you allow fireworks, sparklers or lanterns?
We allow sparklers to be used externally as long as suitable containers to extinguish them are provided.  We are unable to allow fireworks or lanterns due to nearby highways.
